With the start of the all-new Guinness PRO14 season just a week away Edinburgh Rugby continue their final preparations with a friendly against Newcastle Falcons. Kick-off is 6pm and tickets are available.
Edinburgh Rugby play Newcastle Falcons from the Aviva Premiership in a pre-season friendly this evening at The Greenyards in Melrose. It’s the first time the squad has played in the Borders since they entertained Romania at The Greenyards in a pre-season clash in 2015.
Tonight’s game is another opportunity for the #blacknredarmy to see how new head coach Richard Cockerill is shaping the team ahead of the new PRO14 season. It comes a week after Edinburgh lost narrowly to Sale Sharks in a spirited performance at Meggetland.
Kick-off is at 6pm.
