Hibernian v Motherwell

Premiership.  Hibernian welcome Motherwell to Easter Road with the home side eyeing an win to keep in touch with the top three.  Kick-off is at 7.45pm and tickets are available.

It proved to be a frustrating trip to Celtic Park for Hibernian at the weekend who suffered a 1-0 defeat to the champions a result that kept Celtic 11 points clear at the summit of the Premiership.  That result ups the ante for Neil Lennon’s men this evening who will want to close the 8 point gap on Aberdeen and Rangers above them who are currently in third and second place respectively.  For their part tonight’s visitors Motherwell have been in erratic form of late although a point against Hearts last time out which followed a 2-0 win over Ross County is something they’ll want to build on to avoid being dragged into a potential relegation dogfight.

Previous head-to-head: An October encounter at Fir Park – Hibernian taking all three points for the visitors in a 1-0 win.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
