2017 Scotland v Ireland Marine Harvest Shinty/Hurling International

A jam-packed day of shinty/hurling at Bught Park in Inverness as Scotland and Ireland meet in not one but two international matches in this unique cross codes fixture.  Throw-in from 10.30am and tickets are available.

The highlight of the annual shinty calendar this is a wonderful opportunity to see Scotland’s top shinty players compete against their Irish hurling/camogie counterparts.

Scotland’s junior women get the Marine Harvest Shinty/Hurling International fixture underway at 10.30am with a Women’s Camanachd Association match between North U14s v South U14s.  That’s followed by an 11.50am throw-in time for Scotland’s young men who compete against Ireland in the U21 Shinty/Hurling International.

The Scotland senior men will round off a superb day of action when they face Ireland at 2pm, with the visitors out for revenge after last year’s match ended up in victory for the Scottish at Bught Park courtesy of a Scotland 0–14 (14) – Ireland 0–5 (5) scoreline.

First match at 10.30am.

Admission on the day at the gate priced: £15 Adults /£8 Concession/ U12s FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.  A discount applies for Camanachd Members.
