🏉 An iconic fixture in the sporting diary Oxford v Cambridge returns to the home of English rugby for the latest edition of The Varsity Match. Tickets are on sale.
Since 1872, The Varsity Match has formed one of the world’s oldest sporting rivalries and today sees the latest instalment of this famous fixture between Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
Taking place at Twickenham Stadium in 2018 it was Cambridge who lifted the Rhino Trophy in the 30th anniversary year of the Women’s Varsity Match with an 8-5 win while Oxford stopped Cambridge’s winning streak in the Men’s Varsity Match, the Dark Blues taking the spoils courtesy of a 38-16 victory.
A slice of sporting history will be made on the Twickenham today as the whistle goes for the 33rd Women’s Match and 138th Men’s Match. And it’s not too late to book tickets to be part of the action!
