The opening Scottish point-to-point meeting of 2018 takes place this afternoon with the Jedforest fixture at Friars Haugh, Kelso. It has attracted a bumper 90 entries for an exciting afternoon of racing starting at 12.30pm with tickets available.
Rescheduled from last weekend there’s a seven-race card in store today at Friars Haugh starting at 12.30pm. Gates open at 10.30am ahead of a great day out for all in the countryside including a public bar, catering and children’s entertainment to complement the racing. Admission is on the day priced at £10 adults and U16s free.
First race at Friars Haugh is at 12.30pm.

Course and spectator details for Friars Haugh: A hill in the centre of the course provides a natural grandstand from which the action can be watched. The course is left-handed, predominately flat with a sharp turn and climb immediately after fence 7. The finishing straight to the winning post is approximately 150 years including one fence.
