Dundee Stars welcome Fife Flyers to the Dundee Ice Arena in a must-win game for the home side in the race for the end of season Elite League play-offs. Face-off is at 5pm and tickets are available.
Dundee Stars suffered a blow to their play-off hopes last Saturday when they failed to extinguish Coventry Blaze losing 4-2, but bounced back impressively the next evening seeing off Milton Keynes Lightning and scoring nine goals in the process.
Stars are by no means out of the play-off race with a fierce three-way battle in progress between the Stars, the aforementioned Blaze and Braehead Clan for the all-important 8th place. The Clan and Blaze have opened up a 1/2 point gap respectively over the Stars, however the team from Dundee have what could be a crucial game in hand on both of them.
And so to tonight and there are bragging rights up for grabs with Fife Flyers paying a visit. Dundee Stars will need to be at their best against a Flyers side who are shooting for a top-four finish having already secured their place in the play-offs.
Previous meetings between the sides: Earlier this month at the Fife Ice Arena. Dundee Stars stunning their hosts with a 4-1 road win.
Face-off is at 5pm.
