OUR STORY

The seeds for SportonSpec were sown at London 2012 Olympics when founder Tim Underhill witnessed first-hand the Great British public captivated by a multitude of sports and newly discovered stars.

Life changed magically for those few fleeting weeks in the summer of 2012.  A celebration of live sport in all its glorious diversity.  Then came Glasgow 2014 - described as the best Commonwealth Games ever - and history repeated itself. 

Which brings us to SportonSpec and our believe that nothing beats the 'absolute reality' of watching sport in the flesh.  Alongside a mission to showcase all top-level sport - and the athletes who bring it to life - on a level playing field. 

This belief and mission - coupled with our unrivalled depth of coverage (60+ sports and counting) - gives fans a unique opportunity to enjoy the amazing array of entertainment that sport offers.   

We do the hard work to make sure you have fun enjoying the best experiences that can live sport can offer.  But don't take our word for it!

FAQs

Q: How do you provide 'ticket-only' information?

A: Each event preview on our 'What's On' will signpost you to either the event holder or their official ticket retailer.  This ensures you purchase tickets from the primary seller, always at face value or better.

Q: If an event is sold out do you signpost to the secondary ticket market?

A: The vast majority of events don't sell out meaning ticket-only options are available directly from the primary seller as above.  For sold out events we will signpost you to the primary sellers' resale platform if they have one.  Or a secondary ticket market platform which enables fans to sell spare tickets securely and capped at face value (plus fees they have already incurred).  E.g. Twickets.

Q: Can you help with upgrades aka premium experiences?

A: Yes!  Email us at premium [at]  sportonspec.co.uk to enquire about any event of interest.  'Premium' is a term we use (instead of hospitality) to describe the variety of options many event holders now offer by way of an enhanced experience beyond 'ticket-only'.  This can start with a light touch upgrade (e.g. including a padded seat and exclusive lounge access and programme) all the way up to full hospitality in a box including food and drinks throughout. 

SportonSpec is an an agent authorised to sell premium packages across multiple sports.  All packages are from official sources only.

Q: Do you run ticket promotions?

A: Yes we do!  Both prize giveaways and flash sales.  They are exclusive to SportonSpec Club members.  Subscribe for free here to our London newsletter and join the club if you would like to receive ticket deals and/or enter the prize giveaways.

Q: What areas does SportonSpec currently cover?

A: Greater London (broadly within the M25) and Scotland (focusing on the Central Belt including Scottish Borders and Perthshire).
