SEASON SO FAR
Chelsea will be disappointed with a 2-2 draw against Burnley at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League. The Blue remain 11th in the table.
Vincent Kompany’s Clarets came from behind twice with ten men to snatch a point from Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Star boy Cole Palmer scored twice for the hosts, including an opening panenka penalty, which looked to secure three points for Pochettino’s side. Burley fought throughout, and a Dara O’Shea header sent the travelling fans into raptures in the away end. Raheem Sterling should’ve won it for the Blues at the death, his header sailing just wide of the post. Meanwhile talisman Jay Rodriguez hit the crossbar for the visitors in the last few minutes.
Update Saturday 27 April: Chelsea came from two goals down against Aston Villa to snatch a 2-2 draw at Aston Villa. The Blues are ninth in the table and in the mix to qualify for European football next season.
Up next, Chelsea host Spurs in the Premier League on Thursday 2 May followed by West Ham on Sunday 5 May. They are must-win matches for the Blues if they are to maintain their pursuit of European football next season.

The nearest London Underground station to Stamford Bridge is Fulham Broadway on the District Line. It’s just a few minutes walk from the stadium. West Brompton and Imperial Wharf – both on the London Overground – are both about a 15 minute walk from Stamford Bridge. Bus routes 14, 211 and 414 stop outside the ground. Plan your journey at the Transport for London website.
