Rugby 7s meets a party atmosphere as the London Floodlit Sevens returns to the home of Rosslyn Park FC on Saturday 17 May. Read on for a preview and the latest ticket information.
Entertaining fans since 1975, the London Floodlit Sevens is the place to be for a stellar day of rugby sevens action. 12 elite men’s teams are set to take part.
Known for its high-quality rugby and lively atmosphere, the event brings together players, fans, and the rugby community for a feast of fast-paced sevens action in a unique setting.
In past years it’s not just been the team names, but the players themselves, who have attracted the crowds. Premiership teams have brought along the likes of England’s Danny Care, Ugo Monye, Chris Robshaw and James Haskell.
Tonight is a chance to see some of the big clubs strutting their stuff on the 7s field. Previous tournaments have included the likes of Harlequins, Saracens, Leicester, Bath and Wasps from the Premiership. And while the action heats up on the pitch off the pitch the bars and food outlets will be open at Rosslyn Park’s home ground known as The Rock.
A full day of sevens action starts from 1pm. The finals take place under the lights from 6pm. All for just £10 general admission. With food, drinks, and live music on offer, it’s set to be a great day out both on and off the pitch.
