The players are ready, the Home of Cricket is ready and there’s all to play for in the tournament now in its sixth season after the ground-breaking launch in 2021. The 2026 action at Lord’s will see London Spirit in The Hundred action no less than four times this summer. Starting with a double-header against Manchester Super Giants on Thursday 23 July. London Spirit women’s team are looking to retain The Hundred title they won in 2024. Spirit beat Welsh Fire in the final in front of a packed house at Lord’s. Deepti Sharma hit the winning runs for Spirit off the 98th ball, to secure victory by four wickets. Last season they performed strongly in the league stages finishing in third place, before losing out to Sunrisers Leeds in the Eliminator play-off.
London Spirit men’s team have yet to win silverware in The Hundred. Last year they struggled in the league stages and missed out on the play-offs. Can they raise their game in 2026? New head coach Andy Flower has the job of improving Spirit’s fortunes. The signing of England stars Liam Livingstone and Jamie Overton show the Londoners mean business. All eyes will be on NW8 to see if they can deliver.
ONES TO WATCH
London Spirit women welcome back England international Charlie Dean and Australia’s Grace Harris this summer. Harris amassed 214 runs in the 2025 tournament, making her the fourth-highest scorer. New additions to the squad include young England seamer Mahika Gaur and South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp (46 career Hundred wickets, fourth all-time). Jon Lewis is the women’s head coach for 2026.
London Spirit men have two England stars already confirmed. Liam Livingstone (from Birmingham Phoenix) and the returning all-rounder Jamie Overton who was Spirit’s leading wicket-taker in 2025. Joining them is Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa (30 wickets at 13.13 average in The Hundred). South African batter Dewald Brevis has also signed for his debut season in The Hundred. Brevis holds South Africa’s highest T20 score of 161 off 57 balls. Andy Flower is the men’s head coach for 2026.
Strap yourselves in for a summer of exciting cricket courtesy of The Hundred’s 100-ball format. There will also be lots of activities and entertainment on the Lord’s concourses for both kids and adults. Including live music at every matchday!

🚊🚗 Travel tips: Travelling via public transport is recommended. The nearest tube station is St John’s Wood – on the Jubilee line – which is a five minute walk. Four alternative tube stations are only 15 mins walk away: Baker Street, Warwick Ave, Marylebone and Edgware. 2026 COMPETITION FORMAT
The Hundred is an action-packed, unmissable cricket competition fusing world-class cricket with blockbuster entertainment. It takes place between Tuesday 21 July to Sunday 16 August.
Combining a fast format of cricket, with each game lasting less than three hours, and incredible entertainment beyond the sport. Making cricket more accessible and reaching a broader audience The Hundred is simple: 100 balls per team, most runs wins, so every ball counts.
The Hundred features 8 city-based teams. Each team has a women’s squad and men’s squad made up of 15 players with a maximum of three overseas stars. The competitions running parallel with each other. Each teams features some of the best international and domestic cricketers from around the world, including England Men’s & Women’s World Cup winners.
There are eight group games with each team playing six other sides once and their nearest regional rivals (for London Spirit, that’s MI London) twice.
The sides finishing top in the group stage will advance directly to Finals Day and face the winners of The Hundred Eliminator between the teams finishing second and third.
The Eliminators will be held at The Kia Oval on Friday 14 August. Matches at 2.15pm (women’s) and 6pm (men’s).
Finals Day is at Lord’s on Sunday 16 August with matches at 2.15pm (women’s) and 6pm (men’s).
