LONDON SPIRIT LINE-UPS

ONES TO WATCH

London Spirit women will again be lead by England captain Heather Knight, who famously led England to their Women’s Cricket World Cup winning triumph in 2017.  A top-order batter who top-scored for Spirit women with 214 in the 2022 competition, Knight can also bowl some handy spin.  England women’s trio Sarah Glenn, Charlie Dean and Danielle Gibson are among the stars names who will also return.  Joining them is former Australia captain Meg Lanning, who returns to the competition for the first time since 2022 having retired from international cricket last year.

Zak Crawley returns for London Spirit men.  The England batter excels in short-form cricket with his aggressive mindset and powerful hitting.  Captain Dan Lawrence, Australian star Nathan Ellis and last year’s revelation Dan Worrall also return.  And adding considerable firepower to Spirit, who are looking for a first Hundred title, are superstar West indies duo Andrew Russell and Shimron Hetmyer.  England Test vice-captain Ollie Pope is also part of an exciting Spirit men’s roster.

Strap yourselves in for a summer of exciting cricket courtesy of The Hundred’s 100-ball format.  There will also be lots of activities and entertainment on the Lord’s concourses for both kids and adults.  Including live music at every matchday!
