The countdown is on to the 2027 World Athletics Championships in Beijing (11-19 September) with the world’s best athletes set to continue their preparations at the iconic London Stadium on Saturday 17 July.  London Diamond League tickets are on sale now.

In July 2023 the famous stadium – scene of Super Saturday and Thriller Thursday not to mention an extraordinary array of sporting moments – saw athletics return after absence of four years.  And after a series of sell-out events the London Diamond League (formerly known as the Anniversary Games) is the place to be for athletics fans in July 2027.

Global superstars such as Mondo Duplantis, Julian Alfred, Karsten Warholm, Keely Hodgkinson and Josh Kerr have all taken part in recent years.  In 2026, Josh Kerr produced a run for the ages on the famous track to complete ‘Project 222’.  Kerr ran the fastest mile of all-time, clocking a time of 3:42.66 to shatter the record held by Hicham El Guerrouj since 1999.

Another stellar cast of world, European, Commonwealth and Olympic athletes are destined for east London in 2027.  Don’t miss out on the biggest one-day athletics spectacular of the year.  Get your friends and family together and secure your seats for an action-packed day out!
