SEASON SO FAR

Arsenal beat AFC Bournemouth 3-0 in the Premier League at Emirates Stadium last time out, to stay on top of the table.

Despite Manchester City having a game in hand, Mikel Arteta’s side remain in the driving seat heading into the final two weeks of the season.  It took the Gunners multiple attempts to break the deadlock.  They finally did so with a Bukayo Saka penalty, who cooly converted in front of the Arsenal faithful.  Leandro Trossard doubled their lead in the 70th minute, securing three points for the hosts.  A Declan Rice injury-time strike put the icing on the cake.  Bournemouth will feel disappointed after they were denied a late goal which could’ve turned the tide of the match.  Meanwhile the Gunners remain on course to secure their first title since 2004.

Up next, Arsenal host Everton on the final day of the Premier League on Saturday 4 May.  It’s a blockbuster game and an UNMISSABLE match.  Will the Gunners secure their first title in 20 years … Emirates Stadium is the place to find out!

ONES TO WATCH

England starboy Bukayo Saka continues to shine for the Gunners after setting a new club record against Fulham earlier this season, playing in his 83rd consecutive Premier League match.  Meanwhile, defender William Saliba and captain Martin Odegaard have both had great campaigns so far.
