WCA Marine Harvest National Div 1. Glasgow Mid Argyll Ladies and Badenoch & Strathspey Ladies meet at Peterson Park in a clash between the third and fourth-placed teams in league.
Today’s encounter is an opportunity for revenge for Glasgow Mid Argyll Ladies after Badenoch & Strathspey Ladies knocked them out of the WCA Valerie Fraser Camanachd Cup at the quarter-final stage earlier in the season. Both teams currently have 6 league points, with Glasgow Mid Argyll occupying 3rd place in the table and Badenoch & Strathspey Ladies in 4th courtesy of the Glasgow’s side superior goal difference.
With Lochaber in second just 2 points ahead of both sides, and leaders Skye on 10 points but having played a game more than their rivals, it’s all to play for at Yoker today with the Glasgow and Badenoch sides knowing nothing other than a win will do in the pursuit of the title.
