2016 Scottish Cup semi-final: Rangers v Celtic

SOLD OUT.

Perhaps the most anticipated fixture in Scottish football this season as the Old Firm go toe-to-toe in the Scottish Cup semi-finals at Hampden Park.

This is the first time the fierce Glasgow rivals have met since Celtic’s 2-0 League Cup victory last season.  Rangers strolled to a 5-1 win in the fourth round of the cup against Cowdenbeath, before needing a replay to get past Kilmarnock and then overcoming Dundee by four goals to nil in the quarter-finals to set up this afternoon’s encounter.

Celtic on the other hand have not met a Premiership side this season on their road to the semi-finals, and are yet to concede a goal beating Stranraer, East Kilbride and Greenock Morton so far.

Kick-off is at the earlier time of 12 noon.

Tickets are sold out for this fixture.

The winning team will play either Hibernian or Dundee United in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park on Saturday 21st May.
