A game of the day contender from League Two as second meets third in the table.
With leaders Arbroath held to a 1-1 draw by Clyde at Broadwood last Saturday, Albion Rovers closed the gap on them to just two points with a thrilling 4-3 win against Montrose at Links Park. A see-saw match originally saw Montrose open up a 2-0 advantage, but the Wee Rovers would not be denied as they fought back to 3-3 before substitute Thomas McCluskey scored a dramatic injury time winner. Meanwhile today’s opponents Queen’s Park slipped to third in the league after a disappointing 1-1 draw with Elgin City at Hampden Park.
The outcome of this match is difficult to predict. Much better to sit back and enjoy a match between two teams in the League Two title hunt give it their all. Kick-off is at 3pm.
