BBL Trophy Finals 2018. Leicester Riders v Sheffield Sharks

A showpiece event on the British basketball calendar, the BBL Trophy Finals are back at the Emirates Arena where they have been staged since 2013.  Tip-off for the first match of a unique double-header is at 12.45pm.

Tickets for one of the biggest dates in the British Basketball calendar are expected to be snapped up by fans eager to experience the buzz of another sell out BBL Final crowd.  With the unpredictable tradition of producing different winners, the Basketball Trophy Final is always a spectacular event.

The event sees two elite teams from the British Basketball League – Leicester Riders v Sheffield Sharks – battling it out for the second piece of silverware during the 2017-18 season, in what is one of the most prestigious and special trophies on offer in the sport.

There’s an added bonus this year with the recent announcement the event will tip-off with a with a match-up between a Rocks Select side and the Scotland National Team to make a mouth-watering double-bill of matches.

The 2018 BBL Trophy Final will follow the Rocks and Scotland game where fans at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow will be able to support both sides in the encounter, with Great Britain trio Kieron Achara, Gareth Murray and Alasdair Fraser all suiting up for Scotland.  Meanwhile Rocks will be led by the likes of the high-flying dunk machine Earl Brown, NCAA Champion playmaker Nate Britt and the influential Boris Matrakov.

The entertainment doesn’t stop there, throw into the mix the incredible BBL Acrobatic Dunkers, our ‘BBL Dancers’ and even our very own dunking mascot and you have an event that will live in the memory for ever!
