Basketball Scotland 2017 SBC Playoff Finals + Caledonia Pride v Oakland Wolves

The biggest weekend on the Basketball Scotland calendar is here with the Scottish 2017 SBC Playoff Finals taking place at Scotland’s new National Performance Centre, Oriam.  Also in action are Caledonia Pride who face a crucial WBBL encounter against Oakland Wolves.  Matches start today at 10am, tickets are available in advance for each of the three sessions.

A great day of basketball action is in store with six matches in total across the morning, afternoon and evening sessions.  The full line-up is as follows:-

Session 1

U16 Men Division 1 10:00 – St. Mirren West College Scotland vs Sony Centre Fury

U14 Scottish Cup Girls 12:00 – Perth Phoenix vs Stirling Knights

Session 2

WBBL Game 14:00 – Caledonia Pride vs Oakland Wolves

U18 Women Division 1 16:00 – City of Edinburgh vs Boroughmuir Blaze

Session 3

U18 Men Division 1 18:00 – City of Edinburgh vs St. Mirren West College Scotland

Senior Women Division 1 20:00 – TBC.

Expect fierce competition on court with national honours at stake.  And for Caledonia Pride it’s a great opportunity to build on their first home win of the season, last week against Sheffield Hatters, as they take on Oakland Wolves who they beat in the corresponding away fixture.  A win for Pride will do their chances of a top eight finish, and with it a place in the WBBL play-offs, no harm at all.

There are three session of play starting at 10am, 2pm and 6pm. Tickets should be purchased for an individual session, or alternatively a day pass if available.

Tickets are available in advance only from Basketball Scotland via the ‘Get Tickets’ link.  Individual sessions priced: Adult £8 ~ Concessions £6 (Student or OAP) ~ Aged 12 or under, free.  Day, family and group passes are also available.

The Basketball Scotland action continues tomorrow from 10am with three more play-off finals and Caledonia Pride v Barking Abbey in the WBBL, the latter at 12 noon.
