As a memorable year for Scottish sport draws to a close, all eyes will be on The SSE Hydro tonight for this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year.
With the great and the good from British sport due in attendance to celebrate a year when the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles took centre stage, the show will also feature music from Simple Minds along with Nicola Benedetti and the Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
