🏇 Windsor Racecourse is the place to be for two days of jumps action, part of the inaugural Berkshire Winter Million in January 2025. Read on for a preview and the latest ticket information.
Brand new 2025, the Berkshire Winter Million (formerly The Winter MIllion at Lingfield Park) features three days on the spin of thrilling jumps racing with over £1.2 million in prize money at stake. It takes place from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 January with action split between Royal Windsor and Ascot Racecourse. Berkshire Winter Millions tickets are on sale here.
DAY 1
Royal Windsor kicks off the proceedings on Friday 17 January. The highlight of Day 1 is the Fitzdares Sovereign Hurdle. Off the track, there’ll be plenty of entertainment for racegoers to enjoy. To include live music taking place throughout the day to keep the winter blues at bay.
DAY 2
On Saturday, Ascot takes centre-stage with the BetMGM Clarence House Chase Raceday, featuring the £175,000 Grade 1 BetMGM Clarence House Chase won by top-class two-milers such as Un De Sceaux, Altior and Shishkin in recent years.
DAY 3
It’s back to Royal Windsor to close the weekend. The Day 3 (Sunday 19 January) action has a compelling feature race on another quality jumps card. The £165,000 Fitzdares Fleur De Lys Chase, won last year by L’Homme Presse when the race took place at sister-course Lingfield Park, could just be the race of the festival.
The Berkshire Winter Million will host three of the 163 Premier Racedays in 2025. Managing Director of ARC’s Racing Division, Mark Spincer, said: “With jumps racing returning to Royal Windsor from December 2024, we’re excited to kick off 2025 with two more days of brilliant action here and collaborate with Ascot on what will be an unmissable weekend of sport and fun for the whole family. The three-day event will be a hugely exciting one for racing fans to look forward to in the New Year.”
