Birnam Highland Games

The Birnam Highland Games take place amidst stunning Perthshire scenery on its usual date of the last Saturday in August.  This year promises to be extra special as the Games celebrate their 150th anniversary.

Held annually since 1864 this family-friendly gathering includes Heavy Events such as Tossing the Caber and Throwing the Hammer, Piping, Dancing and Field & Track including running and cycling events.  There will also be Special Events including the World Haggis Eating Championship and Kiltie Dash.

Gates open at 8am with Games events starting from 11am and the Parade arriving at the Games Field at 12.30pm.  This is the full programme of events at the Birnam Highland Games.

First events from 11am.

Admission is on the day, tickets available at the ticket boxes located at the entrance to the Games field.  Adults: £6 ~ Concession: £4 ~ Children: £4 ~ Family (2 Adults, 2 Children): £16

Car Park: £1.  Note: Car parking space is limited and is strictly on a first come first served basis.

Programmes: £2 each.
