2017 Scottish Super Series. Singles Finals

Day 1 of the 2017 Scottish Super Series Singles Finals taking place this weekend at the National Centre greens in Ayrshire.  Matches start at 10.30am and spectating is free.

The Scottish Super Series is a Bowls Scotland Tier 1 event alongside the National Championships that took place in July.

Ones to watch: High Performance Players including Lesley Doig, Iain McLean and Derek Oliver will be on the greens this weekend, looking not only to secure the women’s and men’s titles respectively but also to impress ahead of team selection for next year’s Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.  Also in action are a couple of rising starts from the National Academy, John Fleming Jnr and Natalie Docherty.

Today’s action features the last 32 matches in the men’s competition and last 16 and quarter-finals in both men’s and women’s competitions.

Matches start at 10.30am with further sessions at 1.30pm and 4.15pm.

Admission at the 2017 Scottish Super Series Finals is on the day.  Free entry for all spectators.

Play continues tomorrow with the semi-finals and finals from 11am.
