MAIN EVENT PREVIEW
It’s official. Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder will collide in a heavyweight showdown at The O2 on Saturday 4 April.
The time is almost nigh for Britain’s Derek ‘War’ Chisora and USA’s Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder to clash in a heavyweight showdown in London. Taking place at The O2 on Saturday 4 April, a packed undercard includes unbeaten British cruiserweight champion Viddal Riley against former world title challenger Mateusz Masternak.
For 42-year-old ‘Del Boy’ Chisora it will mark his 50th fight in the professional ranks. He has shared the ring with the best heavyweights of the current era incuding Oleksander Usyk, Tyson Fury and Vitali Klitschko. Wilder is looking to regain his reputation as the division’s most explosive puncher – aka the ‘Bronze Bomber’ – after back-to-back defeats against Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang in 2023 and 2024. The high-stakes fight could see the winner earn a world title shot.
