Haringey Box Cup ~ Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June 2024

🥊 The Great Hall at London’s famous Alexandra Palace is the place to be for the 2024 Haringey Box Cup, Europe’s largest amateur boxing event. See below for the latest ticket information.

Around 300 male and female boxers are expected to follow in some very famous footsteps as they take part in the Haringey Box Cup from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June.  The international amateur tournament is steeped in history with previous winners reading like a who’s who of British and Irish boxing stars.

Haringey amateur and double Olympic champion Nicola Adams took the Box Cup silverware in 2009, while two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua won the event twice in a row ahead of his gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics.  Irish superstar Katie Taylor won both silverware and the best female boxer award at the tournament in 2010, the start of a glittering career in both the amateur and professional ranks.

In 2023 a total of 301 boxers weighed in for the Haringey Box Cup providing a memorable three days of boxing action.  The best in class award winners were as follows:-

Male Elite ~ Lucas Roehrig (Dale Youth)
Female Elite ~ Patricia Mbata (Finchley)
Male Youth ~ John Tom Varey (Box Smart Elite)
Female Youth ~ Nancy Shepherd ~ Kent Gloves
Team ~ Ireland Males
Club ~ Hodbox

Five rings will be set up in The Great Hall ahead of three days of fast and furious action featuring amateur boxers from across the globe.

Who will be the winners of 2024 and potential global boxing stars of the future?  All roads lead to Alexandra Palace to find out.
