Haringey amateur and double Olympic champion Nicola Adams took the Box Cup silverware in 2009, while two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua won the event twice in a row ahead of his gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics.  Irish superstar Katie Taylor won both silverware and the best female boxer award at the tournament in 2010, the start of a glittering career in both the amateur and professional ranks.

In 2024 around 300 boxers weighed in for the Haringey Box Cup providing a memorable three days of boxing action.  The best in class award winners were:-

Female Senior ~ Beth Walsh (Tiger’s)
Male Senior ~ Keoma Ali Al-Almadieh (The Corner, Canada)
Female Youth ~ Tiah Ayton (Weston Warriors)
Male Youth ~ John Joe Carrigan (Border City)
Best Club ~ Finchley & Stockbridge

Five rings will be set up in The Great Hall ahead of three days of fast and furious action featuring amateur boxers from across the globe.

Who will be the winners of 2025 and potential global boxing stars of the future?  All roads lead to Alexandra Palace to find out.
