🏐 The waiting is over the for the British Netball Fast5 All-Stars Championship featuring eight sides from the Vitality Netball Superleague.  Tickets are on sale.

All eyes will be on the Copper Box Arena on Saturday 30 October following the welcome announcement by Matchroom Promotions the British Fast5 Netball All-Stars Championship would be returning for the first time since 2019.

This tournament is the perfect way to enjoy the best of club action with the eight top teams from the Vitality Netball Superleague taking part and all existing VNSL-based Roses available for selection.  Defending All-Stars champions Loughborough Lightning are joined by Manchester Thunder, Team Bath, Saracens Mavericks, Wasps Netball, Strathclyde Sirens and debutants London Pulse and Leeds Rhinos. 

An electrifying tournament format features fiver players-a-side, 12-minute matches, multiple point shots, unlimited roll-on roll-off substitutions and the Golden Buzzer Power Play – setting the stage for an all-action afternoon of non-stop, pulsating netball.  Some of the biggest talents in the sport will take to the court including London Pulse’s Funmi Fadoju, Saracens Mavericks Sasha Corbin, and Gia Abernethy of Strathclyde Sirens.

πŸšŠπŸš— Travel tips: Public transport is recommended.  Hackney Wick overground and Stratford tube are approximately a 10-minute walk from the Copper Box Arena.  Stratford International station (accessible from London St Pancras) is about a 15-minute walk.  Very limited parking is available on site although parking is available at nearby Westfield Shopping Centre.

About the British Netball Fast5 All-Stars Championship: The Fast5 All-Stars takes place across a non-stop five-hour session where eight teams play in a double elimination format; two wins and the team will advance straight through to the semi finals, two losses will result in being knocked out of the tournament with teams winning one and losing one of their opening matches playing a deciding match for a place in the last four.

The defending champions are Loughborough Lightning who became two-time winners in 2019 defeating Wasp 61-35 in the final at a sold-out Copper Box Arena.

NB: Stand by for the new Vitality Netball Superleague season in January 2021!  In the London area there are 3 teams to watch; London Pulse (2021 is their third season in the VNSL) playing out of the Copper Box Arena, Surrey Storm (2-time winners) based in Guildford and Saracens Mavericks (2 times winners, runners up 5 times) from Hertfordshire.  Home match updates will appear on our What’s On page for London.
