The British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch returns to the famous racing circuit after it hosted the 2023 finale last October. On a memorable weekend of action Ash Sutton equalled Alain Menu’s modern day record of 12 race wins in a single BTCC season on the way to being crowned 2023 champion.
Now the BTTC action is back for three races on the full Grand Prix circuit. Expect the competition to be fierce as drivers look to take the initiative in the 2024 title race.
This triple-header is set to feature many of the UK’s finest four-wheeled competitors battling it out including aforesaid reigning champion Ash Sutton, previous series winner Tom Ingram and winner of the final race at Brands Hatch in 2023, Jake Hill. Expect BMWs, Fords, Hyundais and Toyotas to be amongst the manufacturers represented on the grid in the BTCC showpiece action.
A full weekend programme from the BTCC will include free practice, plus the all-new Quick Six Qualifying format on Saturday where competitors progress through a series of knockout sessions in an attempt to claim pole position. Sunday features the three headline races . There’s also a full support programme – including the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and F4 British Championship – across the weekend. 🚊 🚗 Travel tips: Brands Hatch is situated on the A20 near West Kingsdown. Just 3 miles from junction 3 (Swanley) of the M25, it is linked via the A20 to the M20 and M25/26 motorways. Regular services to Swanley railway station (the nearest station to the circuit) operate from London Victoria.
