League One. These are heady days at Cappielow Park after Morton went to the top of the league having beaten Airdrieonians 1-0 at the Excelsior Stadium last Saturday. The Diamonds will be pleased to see the back of the Ton after Jamie McCluskey got the only goal to secure a league win, just a few days after Jim Duffy’s team had dumped Airdrieonians out of the Scottish Cup.
Stenhousemuir scored a welcome 1-0 win over Dunfermline last weekend, but today’s visit to Cappielow Park to take on the league leaders is an altogether different challenge for a side only just above the relegation zone and whose confidence is fragile.
