Women’s international T20 action is back in SE11 after last summer’s record-breaking fixture between England and Australia. England women at The Oval against their Ashes rivals drew a crowd of over 20,000. A pulsating match saw the hosts finish on 186-9 at the end of their innings. Australia could not match it, finishing on 183-8.
Now England look to build further momentum in the fourth edition of a five-match IT20 Series against New Zealand. It’s the business end of a hectic summer for Heather Knight’s side who have already met their Pakistan counterparts in ODI and IT20 action, before locking horns with the White Ferns.
