MI London (formerly known at Oval Invincibles) are all set for a brand new season of The Hundred. They will take centre stage at The Kia Oval courtesy of four double-header events this summer starting with a showdown against Sunrisers Leeds on Tuesday 21 July. MI London tickets go on sale soon. MI London women’s team rare looking to rekindle the success they had as Oval Invincibles. They won the title on back-to-back occasions in 2021 and 2022. The latter after a 5-wicket defeat of Southern Brave in the 2022 final at Lord’s.
MI London men’s team completed a three-peat as Oval Invincibles when they beat Trent Rockets in the 2025 final. The defending champions started their hat-trick of titles beating Manchester Originals in 2023, followed by Southern Brave in the 2024 final inspired by the Saqib Mahmood. Mission ‘quadruple’ is on for 2026, but can they achieve it?!
ONES TO WATCH
MI London women welcome England star Danni Wyatt-Hodge to the fold for 2026. Joining her are overseas stars Melie Kerr (New Zealand) and Hayley Matthews (West Indies). More player announcements will be made soon. Lisa Keightley is the women’s head coach for 2026.
MI London men have locked in four internationals to date. These include England star Sam Curran who returns as captain after leading Oval Invincibles to glory in 2025. Curran is joined by fellow England player Will Jacks, together with Rashid Khan (Afghanistan) and Nicholas Pooran (West Indies). Stay tuned for news of more signings. Kieron Pollard is the men’s head coach for 2026.

🚊🚗 Travel tips: Public transport is recommended as the easiest way to get to the Kia Oval. Oval tube station on the Northern Line is a 100 metre walk to the ground. Alternatively, Vauxhall tube station on the Victoria line is a 10-minute walk. Vauxhall railway station is also a 10-minute walk accessible from Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Southern Western Railway routes. Plan your journey at the Transport for London website.

2026 COMPETITION FORMAT
The Hundred is an action-packed, unmissable cricket competition fusing world-class cricket with blockbuster entertainment. It takes place between Tuesday 21 July to Sunday 16 August.
Combining a fast format of cricket, with each game lasting less than three hours, and incredible entertainment beyond the sport. Making cricket more accessible and reaching a broader audience The Hundred is simple: 100 balls per team, most runs wins, so every ball counts.
The Hundred features 8 city-based teams. Each team has a women’s squad and men’s squad made up of 15 players with a maximum of three overseas stars. The competitions running parallel with each other. Each teams features some of the best international and domestic cricketers from around the world, including England Men’s & Women’s World Cup winners.
There are eight group games with each team playing six other sides once and their nearest regional rivals (for MI London, that’s London Spirit) twice.
The sides finishing top in the group stage will advance directly to Finals Day and face the winners of The Hundred Eliminator between the teams finishing second and third.
The Eliminators will be held at The Kia Oval on Friday 14 August. Matches at 2.15pm (women’s) and 6pm (men’s).
Finals Day is at Lord’s on Sunday 16 August with matches at 2.15pm (women’s) and 6pm (men’s).
