The players have been picked and the waiting is over to watch Oval Invincibles in The Hundred this summer!
It’s all to play for in the tournament which made its inaugural appearance in 2021. Oval Invincibles women’s team are the defending champions and back-to-back title holders after their 5-wicket defeat of Southern Brave in the 2022 final at Lord’s. In the men’s tournament Trent Rockets are the reigning champions beating Manchester Originals in last year’s final with two balls to spare.

ONES TO WATCH
South African stars Marizanne Kapp and Dane Van Niekerk have been mainstays for Oval Invincibles women since 2021. In the opening season Kapp was named Player of The Match (POTM) in the final against Southern Brave and Niekerk named Player of the Series. In 2022 Kapp was once against POTM as Invincibles retained their crown. Both players are back for 2023 with Van Niekerk captaining the side. Rising England star Alice Capsey (the youngest player to make her debut in The Hundred aged just 16) also returns after her superb performances in 2022.
Oval Invincibles men have retained the core of their 2022 team and have an exciting line-up. Surrey and England star Sam Curran is back. All-rounder Sam Billings captains the side and England white-ball opener Jason Roy completes a hat-trick of homegrown stars.

TICKETS are on sale via the ‘Get Tickets’ link. Tickets are now SOLD OUT for the matches on 6, 9 and 21 August. A limited amount of hospitality packages remain for the fixture vs London spirit on Tuesday 15 August.
NOTE: All matchdays are double-headers. Tickets provide entry to both matches.

Sunday 6 August: Double-header vs Welsh Fire. Matches at 2.30pm (W) and 6pm (M).
Wednesday 9 August: Double-header vs Manchester Originals. Matches at 3pm (W) and 6.30pm (M).
Tuesday 15 August: Double-header vs London Spirit. Matches at 3pm (W) and 6.30pm (M).
Monday 21 August: Double-header vs Trent Rocks. Matches at 3pm (W) and 6.30pm (M).
🚊🚗 Travel tips: Public transport is recommended as the easiest way to get to the Kia Oval. Oval tube station on the Northern Line is a 100 metre walk to the ground. Alternatively, Vauxhall tube station on the Victoria line is a 10-minute walk. Vauxhall railway station is also a 10-minute walk accessible from Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Southern Western Railway routes. Plan your journey at the Transport for London website.
The Hundred is an action-packed, unmissable cricket competition fusing world-class cricket with blockbuster entertainment. Combining a fast format of cricket, with each game lasting less than three hours, and incredible entertainment beyond the sport. Making cricket more accessible and reaching a broader audience The Hundred is simple: 100 balls per team, most runs wins, so every ball counts.
The Hundred features 8 city-based teams. Each team has a women’s squad and men’s squad made up of 15 players with a maximum of three overseas stars. The competitions running parallel with each other. Each teams features some of the best international and domestic cricketers from around the world, including England Men’s & Women’s World Cup winners.
There are eight group games with each team playing six other sides once and their nearest regional rivals (for Oval Invincibles, that’s London Spirit) twice.
The sides finishing top in the group stage will advance directly to Finals Day and face the winners of The Hundred Eliminator between the teams finishing second and third.
The Eliminators will be held at The Kia Oval on Saturday 26 August.
Finals Day is at Lord’s on Sunday 27 August with matches at 2.15pm and 6pm.
