🏏 Champions Surrey welcome Warwickshire to The Kia Oval with the hosts in search of a home win that could propel them to the Rothesay County Championship Division One title.  See below for more information and the latest ticket information.

Surrey made history last season becoming the first team to win three Country Championship titles in a row for 56 years.  The Division One hat-trick was achieved by the Three Feathers with a game to spare.  It was their 23rd title.  Now the challenge is on to see if Surrey can make it four wins on the spin.  Can they do it?  Surrey tickets are on sale now to find out!

SEASON SO FAR

Surrey opened their 2025 home campaign with a draw against a resilient Hampshire side, before notching up a convincing 8-wicket win over Somerset followed by an innings and 28-run demolition of Yorkshire.  Back-to-back draws followed including against Durham when the hosts posted an incredible 820-9 declared in their first inning.  Dom Sibley weighing in with an epic 305 for Surrey.  At the time of writing the side from SE11 are undefeated after nine matches and top of the table, a point ahead of Nottinghamshire in second place.  Now all eyes are on the visit of Warwickshire to the Kia Oval.  The four-day showdown starts on Monday 8 September.

ONES TO WATCH

Captain Rory Burns and the Dom Sibley, who make a formidable opening pair with the bat, lead a strong nucleus of experienced players in the Surrey team this season.  Sibley has already caught the eye with not one, but two hundreds against Hampshire, followed by his aforementioned 305 knock against Durham.  Surrey head coach Gareth Batty has also been impressed by the bowling of Matt Fisher and Jordan Clark is another in-form bowler in the Surrey ranks.  Clark weighed in with seven wickets to aid their crushing defeat of Yorkshire in early May.

Ten teams in total feature in Division One.  Surrey are joined by Durham, Essex, Hampshire, Northamptonshire, Somerset, Sussex, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire.
