The WDF Lakeside World Championship returns to the iconic Lakeside Country Club, the famous venue which has hosted no less than 37 world championships. And lying ahead is the promise of ten days of darting drama. WDF Lakeside World Championship tickets are on sale now!
The 2026 tournament takes place from Friday 27 November to Sunday 6 December. A unique atmosphere is guaranteed at the Lakeside which will crown no less than four champions on ‘Finals Sunday’ with the finals for the girls and boys followed by the women’s and men’s finals.Â
In 2025 Shane McGuirk made darting history for Ireland winning the Men’s WDF Lakeside World Championship. McGuirk beat the evergreen Paul Lim 6-3 in the final.  In the Women’s tournament Beau Greaves became the youngest three-time women’s champion in the history of the tournament. Greaves saw off Sophie McKinlay in convincing style with an 83.92 average.
And showing darts has a bright future, Paige Pauling was crowned the third WDF Girlsâ World Champion. 16-year-old sensation Pauling, a winner of 16 Youth titles in 2024 prior to the finals, beat her close friend Sophie McKinlay in straight sets. Meanwhile 15-year-old Archie Self caused an upset in the WDF Boysâ World Championship final, coming from behind to defeat top seed Jenson Walker 3-2.
