The Emirates Airline Rugby 7s returns for another year to the Scotstoun Stadium in Glasgow, for the penultimate leg of the globe-trotting HSBC Sevens World Series.
Canada and New Zealand get the contest underway on day one of the series before fellow Group D competitors Japan and Argentina take to the field. Last year’s winners New Zealand line-up alongside South Africa, Samoa and Kenya in Group B while home nation Scotland face Fiji, Wales and Portugal in Group C. Meanwhile England, France, Australia and Russia contest Group A.
The top two teams from each group go into tomorrow’s Cup competition while the bottom two compete in the Bowl competition.
