Surbiton claimed a sixth straight Investec Women’s Hockey League title by defeating Holcombe 1-0 and Hampstead & Westminster won the Men’s Hockey League Finals defeating reigning champions Surbiton 3-1. All roads lead to the Olympic Park for a showpiece event in the hockey calendar. Stand by for two days of quality action with high drama guaranteed at the 2019 England Hockey League Finals and Play-Offs.
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre is the venue for the teams that will contest the play-off and finals action this weekend to bring the curtain down on the domestic league season.
Premier domestic titles are on the line in the League Finals that see the top four Men’s Premier League and Investec Women’s Premier League teams battle it out to be crowned this year’s champions. Can Surbiton HC repeat their dominance of 2018 when their women’s (seen celebrating below) and men’s teams both took the top honours?
Meanwhile in the League Play-Offs teams that finished second from bottom team in the Premier League and the winners of the Regional Conferences – from the Men’s Hockey League and Investec Women’s Hockey League respectively – play for either survival or promotion and a place in next year’s top tiers.
Alongside the hockey there’s plenty more to keep the spectator’s occupied including the the Investec Batak Board ~ Hockey Zone activities ~ On-pitch entertainment. A range of food and drink options will also be available.

10am – Havant v Uni of Exeter (MHL Play-Offs)
12 noon Old Georgians v Bowdon (MHL Play-Offs)
2pm – Slough v Stourport (IWHL Play-Offs)
4pm – Loughborough Students v Hampstead & Westminster (IWHL Play-Offs)
Tickets in advance are available via the ‘Get Tickets’ link. Starting from just £13 for adults and £2 for Under 18s per day. And from £20 adults and £4 for Under 18s for the weekend.
