Surbiton claimed a sixth straight Investec Women’s Hockey League title by defeating Holcombe 1-0 and Hampstead & Westminster won the Men’s Hockey League Finals defeating reigning champions Surbiton 3-1. The domestic hockey league season reaches a finale in the Olympic Park this afternoon at the 2019 England Hockey League Finals. Matches start at 1.45pm and tickets are available.
Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre has been the venue this weekend for eight teams contesting the end of season league finals.
Premier domestic titles are on the line in the League Finals that see the top four Men’s Premier League and Investec Women’s Premier League teams battle it out to be crowned this year’s champions. Can Surbiton HC repeat their dominance of 2018 when their women’s (seen celebrating below) and men’s teams both took the top honours?
Alongside the hockey there’s plenty more to keep the spectator’s occupied including the the Investec Batak Board ~ Hockey Zone activities ~ On-pitch entertainment. A range of food and drink options will also be available.
