Tom Daley leads a superstar cast of the world’s best divers taking part at the FINA Diving World Series finale in London over the next three days.  Day 1 of the action starts at 12 noon and tickets are available.

Olympic, world and European champions from Great Britain and across the globe are set to take part in this exclusive event at the Aquatics Centre built for the London 2012 Olympics.  The event in the capital is the final leg of the 2019 series which has already stopped off in China, Japan, Russia and Canada ahead of season ending finale.

FINA Diving World Series finale in LondonIt’s the first time in four years the event has taken place in London and by Sunday night the overall World Series champions will have been crowned.  Tom Daley and Jack Laugher are both in contention after their recent performances in Montreal when Daley struck gold in the individual 10m platform title while Laugher scooped a silver medal in individual 3m springboard event.  Meanwhile Grace Reid is another name to look out for in a GB team now established as one of the best diving nations in the world, Reid taking a silver medal in Montreal when partnering Daley in the mixed 3m synchro springboard final while Matty Lee is in great form after taking home silver when partnering Daley in the men’s 10m synchro platform final in Canada.  Olympic bronze medallist Dan Goodfellow is another GB medal prospect partnering Laugher in the men’s 3m synchro springboard event.

In all there are 10 different events and finals taking place across three days.  A packed house is expected at the iconic Aquatics Centre for FINA Diving World Series finale in London.  Make sure you purchase your ticket asap to witness the world’s best divers in the flesh!

Today’s sessions run from 12 noon-2pm and 7pm-9pm.  Doors open at 11am and 6pm respectively.

Ones to watch today: Session 1 sees a GB double-header pursuit for medals in the 10m synchro events.  First up Eden Cheng and Lois Toulson compete in the women’s 10m synchro final followed by Tom Daley and Matty Lee in the men’s equivalent.  To the evening and session 2 features Grace Reid and Katherine Torrance diving for medals in the women’s 3m synchro final while closing the Day 1 show Daniel Goodfellow and Jack Laugher test out their new partnership in the men’s 3m synchro final.
