Airdrieonians v East Fife

League One.  Aidrieonians welcome East Fife to the Excelsior Stadium as the race for the end of season play-offs places begins to heat up.  Kick-off is at 3pm with admission on the turnstiles.

Four defeats in their last five matches has seen Airdrieonians stall in their pursuit of the League One title.  Now 10 points behind leaders Livingston and struggling for form, automatic promotion looks out of reach for the Diamonds.  However they are still handily placed in the table in third place and a win today against East Fife would be the ideal tonic as the season moves towards the business end.

It wasn’t so long ago that East Fife looked like relegation candidates but five wins on the spin has transformed their season and The Fife are now handily positioned in the table just 3 points off the play-off places with a game in hand.

Neither side will lack for ambition in what promises to be an attacking game of football this afternoon at Excelsior Stadium.

Last meeting between the sides.  A 1-0 win for Airdrieonians at Bayview Stadium in late October.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Admission is on the gate priced: Adult £16 ~ Concession £10 ~ Child (under 16) £7 ~ Parent & Child £20
