A Premiership clash to savour as leaders Celtic welcome Aberdeen to Celtic Park for a top of the table showdown. Kick-off is 3pm and tickets are sold out.
Going into last weekend Celtic would have been most people’s favourites to extend their record treaking unbeaten domestic run however it was to be as Hearts dished out a 4-0 drubbing that saw 69 games chalked up as the new record.
It was a result that caused raised eyebrows in the football world however any thoughts that the Glasgow side would suddently wobble were put to bed on Wednesday night when Celtic bounced back from their dramatic defeat to Hearts with a routine 2-0 home win over Partick Thistle. Nonetheless an in-form Aberdeen side will see this afternoon as a real opportunity in the knowledge a win at Celtic Park will bring them to just two points behind the reigning champions. A loss however will see Celtic go into the Christmas with an 8 points lead at the top.
