Cowdenbeath

Cowdenbeath v East Kilbride

League Two play-off final, second leg.  This could well be the biggest game in Scottish football this weekend as Lowland League outfit East Kilbride travel to Central Park with every chance of relegating a struggling Cowdenbeath side out of the top four tiers.  Kick-off is at 2pm with admission on the gate.

Loss today would spell total disaster for a Cowdenbeath side who were plying their trade in the Championship just two seasons ago and now stand on the cusp of their third relegation in a row.  Recent form doesn’t make for good reading for the home side, however, having gone four games without a victory and having managed only five wins in their last 23 games.

East Kilbride stormed to the Lowland League title as they finished seven points clear of East Stirlingshire and a further 12 points back were 3rd place Spartans.  Their form makes for much better reading – just one loss (3-2 to East Stirlingshire) in their last 15 outings.

Previous head-to-heads: Nothing could separate the two sides in the first leg as the tie ended 0-0 but it was East Kilbride who were the surprise victors when the sides met at Central Park earlier in the season as a goal from Joao Victoria earned the visitors a 1-0 win despite Kieran Gibbons sending off later in the game.

Kick-off is at 2pm.

Admission is at the turnstiles priced at: Adults £12/Concessions – OAP (65 and over), Youths (under 16), and Students – £6/Adult & child – £14 with 1 child (12 and under)/£15 with 2 children (12 and under).

If you have a disability and require an attendant, the attendant will be admitted to games for free. Contact the club on 01383 610166 or email bluebrazil@cowdenbeathfc.com to make arrangements.
