East Fife v Stenhousemuir

Bayview Stadium is the venue for play-off hopefuls East Fife versus fellow play-off contenders Albion Rovers in what could be a highly entertaining League 1 encounter.  Kick-off is at 3pm with admission on the turnstiles.

East Fife are well in the hunt for the play-offs sitting just one point behind third placed Airdrieonians and one point ahead of Queen’s Park.  The Fifers have lost just once in their last 14 matches in all competitions – a 3-2 loss to St Mirren in the Scottish Cup – with their last defeat in the league coming against Queen’s Park back in the middle of November.  Albion Rovers meanwhile are trailing behind the rest of the sides in the league in terms of games played (just 23 the lowest of all the teams) and currently sit just four points ahead of bottom side Stenhousemuir, while also only being five points behind East Fife and the play-off places.  The Coatbridge side are without a win in any of their last five games and have struggled to string together any sort of form this season.

Previous head-to-heads: The sides have only met once so far this season – East Fife led twice thanks to a goal from Kevin Smith and a Ross Dunlop own goal but they were cancelled out by goals from Albion Rovers’ Calum Ferguson and Ryan Wallace tied things at 2-2.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Admission at the turnstiles priced: Adult £13 ~ Senior Citizens (60 and over) £10 ~ Child £5 ~ Parent and child £16 ~ Parent and 2 children £19.
