England Women v USA tickets are guaranteed to be in hot demand for this showpiece match at the national stadium on Saturday 30 November. The fixture against the Olympic champions is part of the Lionesses’ preparations for next summer’s European Championships in Switzerland, where they will be defending their crown.
It’s only the second time England have met USA at Wembley Stadium. The first was in October 2022 when the Lionesses – fresh from their WEURO2022 triumph – proved too strong for then world champions USA. Sarina Wiegman’s side prevailed 2-1 to extend their unbeaten run to 23 games. Lauren Hemp and Georgia Stanway were England’s goalscorers.
Tonight’s match is part of a four-match series of autumn friendlies for England as they prepare for WEURO2025. The Lionesses host Germany at Wembley on Friday 25 October – in a repeat of the famous EURO 2022 final that saw England crowed European champions for the first time – before facing South Africa in Coventry on Tuesday 29 October.
The Lionesses welcome USA to Wembley Stadium before bringing their 2024 campaign to a close on Tuesday 3 December when they head north to play Euro 2025 hosts the Swiss at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane.
England v USA promises to be a fascinating clash with the visitors now under the guidance of ex-Chelsea manager Emma Hayes and fresh from their victory at the Paris 2024 Olympics. USA beat Brazil 1-0 in the final at Parc des Princes to secure women’s football gold for the first time since 2012. Hayes – who guided Chelsea to 7 WSL titles – described it as the greatest moment of her career.
