League One. Forfar Athletic welcome East Fife to Station Park for a showdown between two sides at opposite end of the table. Kick-off is at 3pm.
Following their promotion last season Forfar Athletic have struggled to make an impact in League One and currently find themselves languishing towards the bottom of the table with 9 points from their opening twelve matches. That said last weekend’s win at Albion Rovers, Forfar prevailing 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller, will give the Loons some much-needed confidence going into today’s fixture.
East Fife are among a clutch of teams in the top half of the table separated by just two points with the Fife lying in fourth place. And with Ayr United and Raith Rovers (leading the way at the League 1 summit) not playing until Tuesday, Darren Young’s men will be looking for maximum points this afternoon to cut the gap on the top two to 5 points.
