Stand by for Friday night football under the Superseal Stadium floodlights as Hamilton Accies take on Rangers in the Premiership. Kick off is at 7.45pm with admission on the gate.
Hamilton Accies will be keen to put a run of three straight defeats behind them as they prepare to take on Rangers this evening. A 2-1 reverse on the road at St Johnstone last weekend preceded by consecutive home defeats to Hearts and Celtic, 2-1 and 4-1 respectively. The Accies are currently in 8th place on seven points and a win tonight could see them climb into the top six, whereas a loss will result in a different direction of league travel for Martin Canning’s men.
Rangers arrive at the Superseal Stadium on the back of an Old Firm defeat at Ibrox, going down 2-0 to their fierce rivals last Saturday in the lunchtime kick-off. And to rub salt into the wounds with Hibernian and St Johnstone both winning the Gers slipped down to fifth place in the table. A decline they will need to reverse and soon if they are not to find themselves out of the title race at an early stage.
Previous head-to-head: Back in March when a rampant Rangers side put four past Hamilton Accies at Ibrox without reply.
Kick off is at 7.45pm.
Admission is on the gate priced: Adults £22/Concessions £12 = Over 65s & U18s/Disabled Supporters £ 10.00 (Carer Free).
