Millwall

Millwall v West Bromwich Albion

Millwall welcome West Bromwich Albion to The Den for a match between two sides with very Championship agendas.  Kick-off is at 3pm and tickets are on general sale.

These are nervous times for Millwall fans as their teams flirts with the relegation zone after only one win from their last 5 league matches.  The FA Cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion on penalties was a bitter pill to swallow and matters went from bad to worse with last weekend’s 3-2 defeat to Leeds United at Elland Road.  The Lions twice went in front but left Yorkshire empty-handed and sitting just one place above the drop zone with a point separating them from Rotherham United in 22nd place.

The landscape could not be different for West Bromwich Albion who have rattled off three league wins on the spin.  A sequence of results that has seen the Baggies climb to fourth in the table with a place in the play-offs all but assured and hopes of automatic promotion still alive.

Previous meeting: Back in September, a spirited performance from Millwall not enough to prevent them leaving The Hawthorns on the wrong end of a 2-0 defeat.

Ones to watch: West Brom’s Jay Rodriguez.  With 19 goals and 5 assists so far this season the home side will do well to keep Rodriguez quiet this afternoon.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Tickets in advance are available via the ‘Get Tickets’ link.

Tickets on the gate subject to availability.  Checking the Millwall FC Twitter feed before travelling is recommended.
