Championship. It’s Morton versus Raith Rovers, aka fourth v fifth in the table, at Cappielow Park as the race for the end of season play-offs reaches the business end.
Morton aim to make it a hat-trick of home wins this afternoon against the team they need to overhaul if they are to climb into fourth place in the league and take the final play-off place. Raith Rovers were away at St Mirren on Tuesday night and depending on that result will either be 7 or 10 points ahead of their rivals from Greenock. In any event the Ton will need to go for broke this afternoon as a draw will only favour the visitors, which should make for an entertaining afternoon of football.
The teams have met 3 times so far this season, Morton yet to register a win albeit have lost each match by just the odd goal.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
