St Mirren

St Mirren v Raith Rovers

With the top end of the Championship all but sewn up attention turns to the bottom of the table where any one of four teams could find themselves playing League One football next season.  Two of those sides face off today as St Mirren entertain Raith Rovers in what should be an enthralling match.  Kick-off is at 3pm and tickets are available online.

With just two games to go in the league five points separate bottom side Ayr United and Dumbarton in 7th place.  Blair Spittal’s 90th minute strike handed Dundee United a 3-2 victory last weekend and brought an end to St Mirren’s run of four games without defeat and left Jack Ross’ side right in the midst of the relegation battle.

Goals from Barr and Matthews earned Raith Rovers their first win in four matches against high-flying Morton last weekend.  All three points today would secure the Kirkcaldy club’s Championship status for another season.

Previous head-to-heads: The previous three meetings between St Mirren and Raith Rovers this season could provide a good omen for the Saints today as the home side has won on all three occasions this campaign.  A Ryan Hardie brace gave Raith the victory last time out to add that to their win in the first meeting of the season but it was St Mirren who ran out 1-0 victors in the other fixture.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Tickets in advance available online via the ‘Get Tickets’ link.

Tickets on the day available via the St Mirren Ticket Office, up until kick off and subject to availability.  Adults £15/Over 65s, Students, Under 18s, Wheelchair Users & Unemployed £8.
