Stirling Albion v Forfar Athletic

It could be an absolute cracker at Forthbank Stadium this afternoon as League Two’s in-form side and play-off chasers Stirling Albion take on league leaders but out of form Forfar Athletic.  Kick-off is at 3pm and admission is available on the gate.

Stirling Albion find themselves just five points away from a play-off place with just six games to play but will be full of confidence having won six league games in a row, including victories over play-off rivals Annan Athletic and Elgin City and part of an eight game unbeaten run for Dave Mackay’s men.  The same can’t be said for league leaders Forfar Athletic however, Gary Bollan’s men have let their lead over Arbroath slip to just a single point after not winning since the beginning of February – a run of seven games without a win.

Previous head-to-heads: The two clubs have met on three occasions already this campaign; Forfar were 4-1 and 3-0 victors in the first two meetings of the season but the sides could not be separated at the third attempt as the game finished 1-1.  The head-to-heads in recent memory don’t make for much better reading for Albion with Forfar having won eight of the last 12 meetings. You have to go back to 2007 to find the last time Stirling beat the Loons.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Admission is on the day and cash only.  Adults £13/Seniors & students £9/U16s £5/U12s free with adult.
