Hamilton Accies v Motherwell at the SuperSeal Stadium

Things continue to be tasty at the bottom end of the Premiership table
as the season reaches its climax and the games do not come much bigger than Hamilton Accies v Motherwell this afternoon at the SuperSeal Stadium.  Kick-off is 3pm with admission on the gate.

Just four goals separate Motherwell in 11th and Hamilton Accies in 10th, and with both sides locked on 32 points it’s Accies who have the superior goal difference.  Dundee’s resurgence under Neil McCann has seen the Dens Park club move four points clear of these two sides, while Inverness’ (who are currently bottom) narrow 2-1 victory over Hamilton last weekend means both teams in action at the SuperSeal Stadium this afternoon are just four points above the foot of the table with three games still to play.  Both clubs have lost each of their last two league games since the split began and Motherwell have won just once in their last seven league outings.  Hamilton meanwhile had been on a four-game unbeaten run prior to the split.

Previous head-to-heads: The previous three meetings between the sides don’t make for the best of reading for Accies who are yet to overcome Motherwell this season.  Louis Moult scored a 13-minute hat-trick and bagged a 4th as Motherwell raced to a 4-2 win in their first meeting of the season back in September.  A last minute goal from Moult cancelled out D’Akol’s effort as the teams shared the spoils on Hogmanay and there wasn’t much to writeup about in their goalless stalemate last month.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Tickets are on the day only at the SuperSeal Stadium.  Adults £22/Concessions £12 = Over 65s & U18s/Disabled Supporters  £10.00 (Carer Free).
