All Gaelic Football roads lead to Coatbridge this afternoon for the biggest day in the men’s calendar.  The County Finals features finals in both the Junior and Senior competitions with throw in at 12.30pm and 2.30pm respectively.  Spectating is free.

Scottish Junior Championship FinalThe 2017 County Finals take place at St. Ambrose High School in Coatbridge.  This year sees a new face in the Junior final with Dalriada Gfc facing defending Junior champs Glasgow Gaels. With their last final contested in 2014, the Aberdeen/Dundee (Dalriada) side will be looking for a win to put them back in the books.

For the third year in a row in the Senior final the Gaels Seniors will be facing Dunedin Connollys.   Dunedin are fresh off an All-Ireland club run earlier this year (reaching the All-Ireland Semi-Final against Rock St. Patricks (Tyrone), and will be a tough side to beat.  But can the Gaels finally breakthrough?  All will be revealed on the St. Ambrose pitch.  And it’s not only Scottish bragging rights up for grabs to the winner as they will also advance to the All-Britain Quarter-Finals on 21st October.

During half time of the Senior final there will be some U12 mini games featuring Dunedin Og versus Glasgow Gaels (the youth clubs of their senior counterparts).

Throw in at 12.30pm for the Junior Final between Dalriada Gfc and Glasgow Gaels and 2.30pm for the Senior Final between Glasgow Gaels against Dunedin Connollys

Spectating is free.
