Newly crowned SWPL League Cup champions Glasgow City look set to continue their impressive start to this season against lowly Hamilton Academical.
Hamilton will need all the strength and ability they have to overcome today’s opponents having lost in 18 consecutive fixtures against Glasgow City, and having only recorded a first victory of the season against Forfar Farmington two weeks ago. City meanwhile have only dropped two points so far this season when they drew with fellow league leaders Hibernian, although they did get their revenge on the Edinburgh side with a 2-1 victory in last week’s SWPL Cup final. They continued their impressive start to the season with an 8-1 victory of Forfar Farmington last weekend while Hamilton picked up their second win of the campaign over Inverness City.
Kick-off at the Excelsior Stadium is at 2.30pm.
