Congratulations to Korea’s Mi Jung Hur winner of the 2019 Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open with a score of 20-under-par.

A huge summer of golf in Scotland continues with the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club.  Taking place 8th to 11th August admission for spectators is free!

Some of the best players in world of women’s golf will tee up at the Renaissance Club this week in pursuit of a coveted trophy on the global circuit not to mention a share of the prize fund of $1,500,000.

Among the British stars confirmed are Charley Hull, Bronte Law. and Georgia Hall.  Hull, a three-time worldwide winner and three-time Solheim Cup player will be looking to improve on her best ever finish of 8th in the Ladies Scottish Open in 2015.   Meanwhile Law heads to Scotland for a third consecutive year but first as a major contender having recently captured her maiden LPGA Tour title at the Pure Silk Championship.  Currently ranked world No24 Law is the highest ranked Brit in the field.  For Hall the tournament is a chance to reclaim her form of 2018 when she memorably claimed the British Open.

An international field includes Beth Allen and Cristie Kerr from the USA with Anna Nordqvist (Sweden) and So Yeon Ryu (Korea) two other names to watch out for.  There’s also plenty of home interest with Kylie Henry, Gemma Dryburgh, Kelsey MacDonald, Catriona Matthew and Pamela Pretswell-Asher among the Scottish players confirmed.

This is the full list of the players taking part.

Play takes place daily from Thursday 8th and features a ‘Ladies Day’ on Saturday 10th August including a free golfing masterclass, welcome drink and cocktail making session.

In addition, ahead of Team Europe’s final selection announcement on Monday 12th August, the tournament will host a Solheim Cup themed Sunday to encourage fans to show their support for the biannual contest at Gleneagles from 9th to 15th September 2019.

Gates open will open at circa 6am ahead of  the morning rounds starting 6.45am to 8.45am (at 10 min intervals) and afternoon rounds  starting 11.45am to 1.45pm (at 10 min intervals).  Play finishes at approximately 7pm.

Daily admission to the event is FREE.  No tickets are required.
